Forget the films honored by the Academy last night! I'm about to reveal the most riveting movies shot in recent history! These films have action, a hero and a heroine, insightful narration, suspense, and water! All this courtesy of Monty and Lola with (nasal and Midwestern accented) commentary by moi. And if you listen closely, you will hear Monty's "quacks" of delight.

mary you crack me up!! and your bathing birds made me laugh, too :) i love the sound of lola's tiny feet hitting the bottom of the glass bowl, and monty diving right into the stream of water made me laugh out loud. these are gripping, indeed ;)
(and i get teased for my hardcore "st. louis" accent all the time, too!)
My kitty and I just watched together:) When I was home for a couple of days last week I learned that my cat talks to the birds everyday. She hasn't really been outside so I don't think she knows what birds are really but she has a lot to say to them!
My 2 yo son loved Monty!! He got mad at Lola. Lol. In his mind, that was Monty's bowl because he saw Monty with it first. "Stop it, Bird. Stop it." Poor Lola
They have such personalities! It's so cute to see them responding to your voice.
These were hilarious. I love how Monty just splashes away, yet Lola is much more dainty about it. :)
